An additional tahasildar’s 21 plots, five houses, three four-wheelers, bank deposits totaling Rs. 37.68 lakh, and two tractors were among the disproportionate properties discovered by the Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday, according to an official.
Eight teams commanded by four DSPs, ten inspectors, four ASIs, and other staff members conducted raids on the houses of Tangarapalli Additional Tahasildar Kulamani Patel in the Sundergarh district on Wednesday, according to the vigilance officials.
A three-story residential building in Lephripada valued at Rs 1 crore and a two-story building at Chitabhanga valued at Rs 46.29 lakh were discovered during the raids, the official reported.
The vigilance sleuths have also found 21 plots in the sought-after area of Sundargarh district, as well as three residential complexes at Dumarbahal.
The official stated that the technical wing was taking exact measurements of these structures and maps.
The anti-corruption division of the Odisha government has also uncovered two tractors, two trailers, and three four-wheelers totaling 14.48 lakh rupees that belonged to Patel.
During the raids, gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 7.81 lakh and bank and insurance deposits worth Rs 37.68 lakh that belonged to the extra tahasildar were also seized.
