The Cannes Film Festival has officially commenced and who better to lead the way than Bollywood’s very own ‘Queen’, Kangana Ranaut. Bringing her brand of vintage fashion to the festival, the actress stunned in a glamorous retro look.Kangana, who is at the festival to be a part of the Indian Pavilion, looked resplendent in an ultra-glamorous Sabyasachi ‘Aakash-tara’ (i.e. starry skies) saree. According to the designer’s official page, the saree is hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that are individually sewn using zardosi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric.
She accessorised her look also with a Sabyasachi batua and ‘teenmaniya’ necklace, crafted out of rose-cut diamonds, Colombian emeralds and basra pearls. Stringing along a black handbag, the actress completed her look with a lrage diamond ring and a retro hairdo.
