The request for an increase in the dearness allowance for state government employees was approved by CM Naveen Patnaik.
The Odisha government on Monday announced a significant increase in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees ahead of the holiday season. According to the most recent announcement, the dearness allowance has increased by 3%.
Today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave his approval to the plan to increase the dearness allowance for state government workers.
With this, the employees’ dearness allowance was raised from the previous 31 percent to 34 percent. According to the most recent government notification for Odisha, the increase in dearness allowance would be effective retroactively as of January 1, 2022.
