The “Badhu Nuhen Mu Bandhu” actress reportedly contacted Real Developers & Construction in 2019 about purchasing a site in the capital city.
Bidusmita Dash Mantry, a well-known actress in Bollywood, has reported a real estate company to the police for allegedly defrauding her of Rs. 15 lakh under the guise of giving her a plot in Bhubaneswar.
The “Badhu Nuhen Mu Bandhu” actress reportedly contacted Real Developers & Construction in 2019 about purchasing a site in the capital city.
She claims that the general director of the real estate company, Arunjyoti Pattnaik, promised her that he would provide her a plot in the Kalinga Vihar neighbourhood.
Bidusmita claimed to have paid an advance of Rs 15 lakh in accordance with the contract, with the rest sum to be paid following the registration of the land.
The actress was apparently given assurances by the real estate MD that the land registration would be completed in two months. The actress claimed that the paperwork is still pending.
Bidusmita claimed that despite her repeated contacts with the real estate company, they continued to make her fraudulent promises.
Regarding the fraud, the Ollywood actress filed a report with the Khandagiri police station. In response to the complaint, the police opened an investigation and filed a case.
It is important to note that the actress has been a BJP member since 2019 in India.
