On 21st July 2022, Arupa Mission Research Foundation gifted ten vulnerable women from Basudevpur, Dabamukunda Gam Panchayat of Pipili block, ten new sewing machines.
The women are skilled in Pipili appliqué work but were unable to earn a living as they couldn’t afford to purchase sewing machines. Having been gifted with the machines, the women of the village have pledged to start an enterprise of their own under the name and blessings of their village deity Goddess- Maa Jaadumali.
The handing over of the sewing machines was done in the presence and participation of Sarpanch Danamukundapur – Shri Paresh Kumar Mishra, acting Sarpanch and ward member Mrs. Sujata Bhoi, Trustee Arupa Mission Research Foundation- Mrs. Shobha Ahuja, Member AMRF- Mrs. Nishi Joshi and Director Arupa Mission Research Foundation.
