Bhubaneswar, Sept. 13: Odisha’s undisputed leader Biju Patnaik’s ardent supporter Suresh Chnadra Patnaik left for his heavenly abode on Sunday morning in a private hospital in Bhybaneswar due to massive cardiac arrest.
He was 58 years old and was very active. He died of cardiac arrest.
Being an ardent supporter of Biju Patnaik and was close to him as well as leaders like Nalini Kanta Mohanty, Bijoy Mohapoatra, Ashok Das etc, However he maintained respectable distance from the power corridor .
He was the youngest son of Late Nilakantha Patnaik and Chndramani Patnaik of Titigaon village in Jagatsinghour district and had devoted his time for social work .
Suresh Chandra was a very loving human being, fond of good food and helping people in need . He was very close to leaders of all political parties at personal level and extended them all cooperation.
I have seen him spending sleepless nights attending poor patients in hospitals and helping them in very many ways. Whatever he had earned from busines had spent most for others, He was loved and respected by many media friends because of his love and sweet behavior.
He left behind him bereaved wife , one minor son and a daughter as well as a number of family members. His sad demise is a personal loss to many who were very much emotionally attached to him.
He was an ardent devotee of Siridi Saibaba and took pains in building a large temple of Baba in his native village, Titigaon, which is regularly visited by thousands of devotees. He would be remembered by the people of the locality as long as Sai Baba’s temple exists in Titigaon .
