In a media release odisha total violence free campaign chief bharatbhusan declared To make Odisha free from Naxal violance a Anti Naxal People’s Peace Force was lunched against (PLGA) ,The said force would be formed with 600 youths to operate from the Naxal hit districts like Malkangir, Kalahandi, Koraput, etc. while A Bhuyan and P Bijaya Naidu will be the In-charge of the ANPPF force for Odisha state. A special training will be provided to the youth involved in the force. After the training they will act against naxalisim.
Reacting to the said operation the Adivasi Samaj stepped out to oppose and will take a destructive move to the prevalling peaceful atmoshpehere in the Naxal affected districts. The Chief Advisor of the Adivasi samaj is Ghanshyam Madkami, said, “will not entertain any disturbance to peace in Malkangiri or violence in the District. Non of the tribal youth will step in any anti-social activities in Malkangiri”.
Reportedly, some people planned to form Anti Naxal force namely Salwa Judum in Chattisgarh, but later it was declared illegal by the Hon’ble Supream Court. With an interaction with the Mankangiri District SP Jagmohan Meena, said, “Public health, Safety, Conveninance, Decency and Moral is put on priority. Any movement against these will be taken as illegal and police will act against such groups”.
