Among the ten industrial projects approved by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) committee meeting chaired by Chief Secretary S C Mohapatra are proposals in the metal and metal downstream, pharmaceutical, chemical, infrastructure, and tourism sectors.
Summa Real Media Private Limited’s proposal to establish a pharmaceutical manufacturing and research unit with an annual capacity of 1.6 billion units at Gothapatna in Bhubaneswar’s Khurda district for an investment of Rs 200 crore was approved by the SLSWCA. Over 1,280 people will be employed as a result of this project.
The committee also approved Sanvira Industries Limited’s proposal to build a Carbon Electrode Paste manufacturing plant (capacity 100,000 MT) in Danagadi, Jajpur district, at a cost of Rs 205.44 crore. This will provide work for 260 people.
A proposal by Sai Bulk Bags Private Limited to establish a manufacturing unit of Chemicals (Sulphuric Acid, Surfactant) and Fine Fabric/HDPE/ PPWoven Sacks with annual capacities of 144000 MT and 24000 MT in Paradip, Jagatsinghpur district, with an investment of Rs 135.95 crore, was also approved. 301 people will be employed as a result of the project.
The SLSWCA also approved United Ferrocast Private Limited’s plan to build a 0.11 MTPA Ferro Alloys plant (2×24 MVA) in Badchana, Jajpur district, at a cost of Rs 261.1 crore and employ 376 people.
Balento Enterprises Private Limited has received approval for a 5 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation plant and a 3 MTPA Pellet plant in Jhumpura, Keonjhar district, at a cost of Rs 775 crore, creating 314 jobs.
Oriclean Private Limited’s proposal to establish a manufacturing unit for sauces, jams, jellies, and marmalades with a total capacity of 60,000 MT per year at an investment of Rs 88 crore and 160 job opportunities in Tangi-Choudwar, Cuttack district, was also approved.
Approval was also given to DN Sea Shells Private Limited for the establishment of a shrimp processing unit in Seafood Park, Deras, in Khurda district, at a cost of Rs 50.40 crore, which will employ 409 people.
The committee approved Runaya Aluminium Private Limited’s (RAPL) proposal to establish a 5000 MT Aluminium Powder and Pigments Plant in Jharsuguda district for an investment of Rs 80 crore, creating 125 jobs.
Mayfair Hotels & Resorts Limited received approval to expand their existing facility, Mayfair Palm Beach Resort, creating 120 job opportunities at an investment of Rs 85 crore in Gopalpur-on-Sea, Ganjam district.
The SLSWCA committee also approved Naresh Kumar and Co Pvt Ltd’s proposal to establish a Warehousing and Logistics Park in Baghuapal, Jajpur district, for an investment of Rs 125 crore and the creation of 200 jobs.
