The Odisha government has given the green light to seven industrial projects amounting to a total investment of Rs 1482.53 crore. These projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for over 11,500 individuals. The approval was granted by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), headed by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena. 

The approved projects are set to be established in various districts, including Khurda, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Balasore, and Rayagada. 

Some key highlights of the approved projects include: 

1. Tech AIC DRI Pellets Pvt Ltd: The proposal to set up a steel manufacturing plant in Keonjhar district with an investment of Rs 800 crore was approved. 

2. MAS Udyat India Pvt Ltd: This company received approval for establishing an integrated textile facility in Khurda district, involving an investment of Rs 214.40 crore. 

3. Alenn Steel Industries Pvt Ltd: The company has committed to investing Rs 178 crore in setting up a cold rolled precision pipes manufacturing unit at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district. 

4. Reliance Bio Energy Ltd: The state government approved an investment proposal of Rs 121.21 crore for setting up a compressed biogas and fermented organic manure plant in Balasore district. 

Additionally, three other projects received approval: 

Vinner Labs Pvt Ltd: Rs 52 crore 

MR Unicast Pvt Ltd: Rs 56.32 crore 

Terrestrial Food Processors Pvt Ltd: Rs 60.6 crore 

These projects cover a range of industries, including steel manufacturing, textiles, precision pipes, and bioenergy. The government’s decision is expected to boost economic development in the specified districts and contribute to job creation in the region.
