BJP national president Amit Shah will hold an election meeting in Sisai and Simdega on Sunday to campaign for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections. They will campaign in favor of BJP candidate Dinesh Oraon from Sisai and Shraddhanand Besra from Simdega. This is Shah’s third visit to the state for campaigning. Both seats are to be voted on December 7.
Dinesh Oraon is a BJP candidate in Sisai seat, who is pitted against Jiga Munda of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. BJP candidate from this seat Dinesh Oraon is an MLA, and he is also the Speaker of Jharkhand Assembly. In Simdega assembly seat, BJP candidate Shraddhanand Besra is directly contesting against Bhushan Bara of Congress. BJP’s Vimla Pradhan won from this seat in 2009 and 2014. This time the BJP has made Shraddhanand Besra a candidate by cutting his ticket.

SHAH HAS VISITED JHARKHAND TWICE FOR THE ELECTION MEETING
Shah appealed for votes for BJP candidates in Manika and Lohardaga constituencies on November 22, while in Chatra and Garhwa on November 28. Apart from Shah, those who campaigned with BJP in Jharkhand included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP Working President JP Nadda, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Smriti Irani, MP Ravi Kishan, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari Are.

The 20 assembly seats of Surrey Charan include Bahragodda, Ghatshila, Potka, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur Eastern, Jamshedpur Western, Saraikela, Chaibasa, Mazgaon, Jagannathpur, Manoharpur, Chakradharpur, Kharsanwa, Tamar, Torpa, Khunti, Mandar, Sisai, Simdega, Kolebira.. Votes will be cast here on 7 December. In Jharkhand, voting is on 81 seats in 5 phases by 20 December. The results will come on 23 December.
