In the wake of the Pulwama attack that claimed lives of at least 40 CRPF jawans, major film boldies including Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association and Federation of Western India Cine Employees staged a protest at Film city. Amitabh Bachchan, who was shooting for his next film, voluntarily stopped the shooting for two hours due to the protest. Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina who were also shooting a commercial at Film City joined the protest. Actor Nia Sharma and Isha Kopikar were also present at the protest to show their solidarity.
