Today an active hard core Maoist cadre of Gumma AC under Malkangiri Koraput Vishakha Border(MKVB) Division of AOBSZC arrested by BSF.
The arrested cadre was identified as Rama Pangi (22 yrs, Party Member ) of
Village Bachelpadar under Chitrakonda PS of Malkangiri district of Odisha. Earlier the State Govt has declared a reward of Rs 1 Lakh for Rama.
With a specific information of BSF intelligence department regarding atrocities of Maoists on innocent civilians of village Hanumal under PS Machhkund of Koraput district, BSF troops launched an operation in the general area and arrested Rama Pangi along with 04 other militias.
Reportedky, recently a female hard core Maoist Cadre namely Nayana Khillo of the same group was also surrendered before BSF.
BSF will continue its efforts in the given area of responsibility for more apprehension and surrender of Maoists in coming days.
