Again the Malkangiri police nabbed 3 for gambling and betting in the district. Reportedly, while performing patrolling around 10am today by ASI N Majhi and his team, received an information regarding gambling in MV-10 village from the reliable source. With a tip-off information police conducted raid in MV-10 village and arrested three. The three accused were identified as, Nirad Biswas(58) & Dinesh Jaiswal(61) of MV-9 village and Krishnapada Biswas(55) of MV-10 village.
In a primary interrogation the three confessed regarding gambling and betting. Also disclosed other three; Nimal of MV-11, Parimal of MV-11 and Suku Ranjan of MV-29 fled the spot after police reached there.
Police seized 3 packets of playing cards, 1 plastic mat, 3 mobile phones, 6 motorcycles and cash of ₹33,390/- cash of different denominations from the spot.
