Odisha is not behind when it comes to spreading the concept of physical and mental well-being. ‘Yoga For Humanity’ is the topic of the International Day of Yoga in 2022. Let’s have a look at how Odisha is promoting the country’s rich tradition and culture on this special day.
As a symbol of admiration for PM Narendra Modi’s passion and contribution to promoting yoga around the world, sand master Sudarsan Pattnaik made a 7-foot sand sculpture depicting him performing yoga. The sculpture, based on the topic of ‘Surya Namaskar,’ was made with around 6 tonnes of sand.
