Cuttack: Orissa High Court today made changes on their yesterday’s verdict regarding seizure of vehicles during lockdown period. While the earlier judgement instructed the police authorities  to immediately release seized bikes by obtaining an undertaking from the owner, today’s order makes it applicable only for the senior citizens and handicapped persons.

The High Court has further ordered the Police authorities not to be strict enough for  Doctors and Heath Workers and let them go on production of of their identification and certificates. It was also clarified that the  order issued on 9th April was not meant for complete lifting of ban on vehicle seizure.

Adequate vending zones have been made ready within walkable distance areas in both Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Municipal Corporations for availability of Grocery, Milk and Vegetables. So people would not require anymore to carry their bikes for purchasing essential and everyday goods.
