The Odisha girls had a good day at the BCCI Women’s U-19 One-day Trophy meet, defeating Sikkim and Mizoram by huge margins in back-to-back games.
In 50 overs against Mizoram on Thursday, captain Tanmayee Behera (122) and Priyankaree Muduli (113) each scored centuries as Odisha amassed 423/9.
Odisha won by 334 runs after skittleing Mizoram for 89 in 38.3 overs.
The most productive bowlers for Odisha were Suchismita Panda (3/15) and S B Lorence (4/17).
The girls from Odisha crushed Sikkim by 225 runs on Wednesday.
Odisha scored 283/8 in 50 overs because to contributions from Suchismita (50), the captain, and Tanmayee (88), who took the initiative.
Suchismita also excelled with the ball, taking 5 wickets for just 10 runs while dismissing Sikkim for a pitiful 58 in 32.3 overs.
