The Border Security Force (BSF) started a seven-day tribal youth exchange programme on Thursday, inviting about 70 tribal youngsters from areas afflicted by left-wing extremism to participate in the event for cultural exchange and to ensure national integration.
The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) is in charge of organising the programme, and Shailendra Kumar Sinha, Deputy Inspector General, State Headquarters BSF Malkangiri, will be the one to kick off the tribal youths’ exposure journey to Ahmedabad (Gujarat). Such gatherings, according to a BSF official statement, “will celebrate our national values and promote our patriotic spirit.”
70 tribal teenagers from remote locations where BSF personnel are stationed, including 32 male and 38 female candidates, are participating in this visit. They are natives of Mathili and Chitrakonda police station limits in the Malkangiri district.
70 tribal adolescents, including 32 men and 38 women, who reside inside the borders of the Mathili and Chitrakonda police stations in the Malkangiri district and who live in remote locations where BSF personnel are stationed in the district’s interior and most outlying regions, are participating in this excursion.

The youths would travel to and stay in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from October 16 to October 22, 2022, during this entire tour. They would get the chance to interact with constitutional leaders like the governor of Gujarat, members of the council of ministries, notable individuals, athletes, actors, and other significant State figures.
The youngsters would also receive orientation regarding the various forms of youth counselling and career counselling, particularly regarding industrial training. In order to have a deeper grasp of the social and cultural ethos of the nation, they would also tour significant sporting events, significant industries, corporations, national institutions, and historical and cultural sites.
The goal of the entire programme is to increase the kids’ level of knowledge and give them better exposure on a larger stage, enabling them to pursue a promising future career.
