Bolangir,October30: A trial run on Bolangir-Khurda railway line will be conducted today following which trains will start operating from Bolangir till Bhainsapali railway station and return back.

The 19-km line will be inspected by Commissionerate of Railway Safety (CRS) along with Sambalpur DRM and some other senior officials. After a safety inspection of the Railway tracker, CRS will submit a report to the department.

As per reports, earlier this year, the state cabinet had approved alienation of government land measuring 881.475 acres for the construction of Daspalla-Bolangir segment of Khurda-Bolangir rail line.

While the project is expected to complete by 2020, the Ministry of Railways has already commissioned 66-km Khurda Road-Nayagarh stretch of the 289-km Khurda Road-Balangir
