Even the Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar-Bhadrak Passenger, Angul-Puri-Angul and Talcher-Puri-Talcher MEMU trains are halting at the station in their return direction.

As there is no road communication and transport system to the newly constructed Bhubaneswar New Railway Station, the passengers are not able to board from this station even as more trains stop here, a local source said.

The existing road to the station is not convenient for the people especially residing at Raghunathpur area and tourists visiting the Nandankanan Zoological Park and Botanical Garden. Hence, the local train passengers prefer to board from Barang Station instead of Bhubaneswar New Railway Station, sources said.
