The final results of the 2020 Odisha Civil Services Examination were announced by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Friday. A total of 392 candidates, including 148 female candidates, have passed the exam.
In the category of Odisha Administrative Service, Tejaswini Behera has achieved the top spot.
Tejaswini Behera, the exam’s top student, gushed to the media about her achievement of taking first place.
I passed the exam on my first try, but I wasn’t certain I’d get the top spot, the student said.
The top three applicants, all of whom have earned the OAS rank, are all female. The second and third places on the list of top scorers are held by Subhankari Sudeshna Das and Ananya Sristi Satpathy.
In the 2020 OCS Exam, female candidates performed better than their male counterparts. Seven of the top 10 merit applicants are women, and the remaining three are men.
The OCS Mains outcome for 2020 is being anticipated. OCS Exam 2020 Preliminaries and Mains were held in 2021 and 2022, respectively. But because there were not enough evaluators, the results that were supposed to be released in August were postponed.
