Junior clerk of Raighar Tehsil office of Nabrangpur district was caught today for taking bribe of ₹7000/-. The accused clerk is identified as Prakash Chandra Mishra.
Reportedly, Sarban Gond’s father expired due to Snake bite. To get the compensation money from the government, Sarban regularly visited tehsil office. During his visit Mishra asked him a bribe of ₹7000/- for clearance of compensation. With no other way out Sarban informed vigilance team. Today while accepting bribe Mishra was arrested red handed. Later on vigilance team raided Mishra’s residence at Nabrangpur town.
