Malkangiri,16,Jan. 2019: A 19-year-old boy of Khadamguda village under Khairput block of Odisha’s Malkangiri district was allegedly stoned to death last night over a love affair with a girl.
The mutilated body of the deceased, identified as Pabitra Khila, was found lying in a pool of blood near State Highways-49 in the locality. The body bore grievious injuries on head, for which it is suspected that he was crushed to death with stone, police sources said.
On the other hand, family members of the deceased have alleged that he had a love affair with a girl of the village and might have been murdered over the matter.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation into the incident is underway.
