The officials have been promoted on ad hoc basis for a period not exceeding one year or till receipt of the recommendation of OPSC or till their retirement, whichever is earlier, without prejudice to the claim of others, a statement issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances department.
As per the notification, the officials who have been elevated to the special secretary rank are Rajendra Prasad Mund, Bivas Kanungo, Susanta Kumar Barik, Bishnu Prasad Mishra, Ramakrushna Sahoo, Rabindra Nath Sahu and Pradeep Kumar Dash have been promoted. They will work in their present positions until the next order.
At present, Rajendra Mund is posted as special land acquisition officer, MCIIP, Cuttack, Bivas Kanungo as additional secretary to finance department, Sussanta Kumar Barik as textiles director, Bishnu Prasad Mishra as secretary, Odisha sub-ordinate staff selection commission, Ramakrushna Sahoo as additional to Odia language, literature and culture department, Rabindra Nath Sahu as additional secretary to GA and PG department and Pradeep Kumar Dash as additional secretary to water resources department.
