Bhubaneswar, 12Jan. 2019: The Supreme Court Collegium today recommended re-transfer of Justice Pramath Patnaik to Orissa High Court from Jharkhand High Court.
The Collegium comprising Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, Justices AK Sikri, SA Bobde, NV Ramana and Arun Mishra accepted Justice Patnaik’s plea for the re-transfer.
“The Collegium, acceding to his request, resolves to recommend that Mr. Justice Pramath Patnaik, Judge, Jharkhand High Court, be re-transferred, in the interest of better administration of justice, to Orissa High Court,” said a communiqué issued by the Collegium.
Patnaik has been serving in the Jharkhand High Court since December 22, 2014.
