Jharsuguda,Jan.05 : In another development in the Sambalpuri album actress death case, police has booked deceased Simran Singh’s husband under POCSO Act.
The accused, Dhrubaraj Suna, alias Yug was detained by Bolangir’s Belapada police yesterday. During interrogation, Dhrubaraj told the police that they had tied the knot going against the consent of their families last year.
Hours before cops nabbed Dhrubaraj, a voice message of the deceased actress, which she had sent to a friend, went viral on social media.
In her last message, the actress had said that she was depressed over their estranged relationship and going to away from everyone.
Notably, Simran’s body was found under Mahanadi Bridge near Goira Matha in Sambalpur on Thursday morning.
While Simran’s family members levelled murder allegations against Dhrubaraj, the latter denied the allegation of his involvement in Simran’s death and stated that he is still not sure whether she was murdered or committed suicide.
