New Delhi,14 Jan. 2019: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received the first ever Philip Kotler Presidential award for his ‘outstanding leadership for the nation’ on Monday.
According to reports the award focuses on the triple bottom-line of ‘people, profit and planet’. A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the award will be offered annually to the leader
The citation has mentioned that under Modi’s leadership India is now identified as the centre for innovation.
It said the country has become a global hub for professional services such as information technology, accounting and finance.
The statement of the citation said initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, Digital India and Swachh Bharat have made positive impact on the lives of the people.
