Mayurbhanj, Dec.08 : The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch busted a pangolin smuggling racket with the arrest of four persons in Udala in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.
The identities of the accused persons were not ascertained immediately.
Acting on a tip-off about the racket, a team of STF conducted the raid and arrested four persons involved in the racket. The police have rescued two pangolins from their possession.
A case was registered and the accused persons were taken into the police custody for interrogation. Further investigation is on, police said.
