Cloudburst in Dehradun and flooding in parts of Uttarakhand

In the Dehradun district, the Raipur block had a cloudburst. According to the SDRF, a crew was dispatched right away to the scene, and everyone trapped in the village was freed. Some people sought refuge in a resort close by.

A series of cloudbursts early on Saturday forced the evacuation of many communities, resulting in the deaths of four people and the disappearance of ten more as rivers burst their banks, washed away bridges, and poured muck and water inside homes.

Due to extreme flooding, a portion of a bridge that links the outlying Dehradun neighbourhood of Raipur with the airport has been swept out.
