The State Nodal Officer of PM POSHAN instructed the District Education Officers (DEOs) in a letter addressed to them to modify or replace the CRCCs in their districts and disconnect the Data Entry Operators of the MDM scheme at the block level.
The School and Mass Education department has replaced up to 114 and more than 80 Cluster Resource Center Coordinators (CRCCs) of the Koraput and Bolangir districts, respectively, amid allegations of irregularities in the MDM scheme. In both districts, the Data Entry Operators who were employed under the programme at the block level have also been let go.
The State Nodal Officer of PM POSHAN instructed the District Education Officers (DEOs) in a letter addressed to them to modify or replace the CRCCs in their districts and disconnect the Data Entry Operators of the MDM scheme at the block level.
“The revised list of CRCCs may be completed right now and submitted for OSEPA, SPD approval. The letter demanded that the outsourcing companies who had hired your data entry operator (MDM) immediately replace them.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash announced the action, saying, “Direction has been issued for the appointment of new CRCCs.” Aside from that, the Data Entry Operators who work in blocks have been deactivated.”
Since the situation pertains to the Supplies department, a letter will be sent to that office’s principal secretary, who will order an investigation and take appropriate action against individuals found to be at fault, according to Dash.
