As per reports, the question papers of the test conducted by the board of secondary education (BSE) allegedly leaked on social media.
The test is scheduled to be conducted in two sittings today. Altogether 1.12 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the test today.
Reportedly, the photos of the question papers surfaced on social media and subsequently went viral.
The first sitting of the test is currently underway and will conclude at 12:30 pm. The second shift will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
However, BSE, the custodian of the examination, has not come with a clarification in this regard so far. Besides, the authenticity of the leaked papers is yet to be ascertained.
Notably, the BSE conducts the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) to certify the candidate’s eligibility to teach in schools affiliated to BSEO.
There are two categories, one for eligibility to teach from Class I to V and the other for eligibility to teacher from Class VI to VIII. The candidates have an option to apply for either or both categories.
