On May 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to announce the opening of eight significant rail projects totaling Rs 8,216 crore.
The projects include the laying of the cornerstone for the renovation of Puri and Cuttack stations, the opening of the Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, the doubling of the 182 km Sambalpur-Titagarh segment, and the construction of a 104 km new line between Angul and Sukinda in Odisha.
