Manoj Kumar Sahoo, a senior Odia bureaucrat, has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner as part of the Centre’s senior-level bureaucratic reshuffle on Saturday.
According to reports, Sahoo is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre from the 2006 batch.
According to a Personnel Ministry order, Sahoo has been appointed to the position for a total of seven years, ending on December 16, 2023.
