The state of Odisha has received numerous requests to establish manufacturing and service sector firms, according to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who claimed that “transparency in governance” has created the ideal climate for investors.
On Thursday, Patnaik stated during a discussion in the assembly that the state has the potential to become a leader in several fields.
“Our careful money management has made it possible for Odisha to have a revenue surplus. I have faith that the state will make quick, transformative strides in the upcoming years, resulting in socioeconomic empowerment and development in all spheres.
“The transparent, sensitive and stable governance provided by us has created the right ecosystem for the investors, with the state receiving numerous proposals for setting up of manufacturing and service industries in Odisha,” the CM underlined.
According to him, Odisha will become a commercial centre in the thrust and priority sectors thanks to the new Industrial Policy Resolution-2022, which will be in effect for the next five years.
