Nabarangpur,27 Jan.2019: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly killed his brother (cousin) and buried the body at a forest in Jharigaon area of Odisha’s Nabarangpur district.

The incident took place on January 23 and came to fore after the body was exhumed by police yesterday.

According to reports, a dispute was prevailing between Bhuban Jani, the accused, and Chandan Jani, the deceased, of Dhepaguda village over land dispute.

On January 23, Bhuban along with his brother-in-law Jagannath Jani allegedly murdered Chandan and buried the body at a forest near Badatemer.

Shoes and clothes of Chandan were found near the forest yesterday following which his family members lodged a police complaint in this regard. Cops later reached the spot and recovered the buried body, which had decomposed.

Police have arrested the accused duo and started investigation into the matter.
