Bhubaneswar,Dec.23 : The cold wave is likely to continue across Odisha with the decline of minimum temperature by two to three degree Celsius from December 26.
The temperature is likely to drop upto 4 degree Celsius in two days in Odisha. The weather is likely to be cloudy and temperature will further reduce by 2-3 degree Celsius in the coastal belt of Odisha after December 26. The mercury is likely to drop from Dec 25 in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Balasore districts, said the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) Vice-chancellor Prof Surendranath Pasupalak.
Meanwhile, entire State is shivering under intense cold wave following cyclonic storm Phethai that hit the Andhra coast on Dec 17. The intense cold is felt in interior parts of Odisha especially in Kandhamal and Phulbani where the minimum temperature recorded below 10 degree in the past three days.
The visitors have started flocked Kandhamal and Daringbadi to enjoy the Nature during winter.
