The actress was admitted to the Aswini Hospital in CDA area in Cuttack following an injury on her head on Friday night. She was 32.

However, the exact reason behind head injury is yet unknown.

According to reports, the actress had visited her father’s house at Mahanadi Vihar in the Silver City Cuttack where she fell off the roof of the house on Friday.

She had tied the knot with actor Lipan in September 2017. The couple has a 4-month-old son ‘Ansh’.

Nikita had made debut in Ollywood with ‘Akhi kholibaku dara laguchi’. She was also featured in movies included ‘Chori chori mana chori’, ‘Maa ra Panatakani’, ‘Smile please’, ‘Mathare dei pata odhani’, ‘Gunda’ and ‘Mita basichi bhoota sathire’.

Nikita was much popular for playing dominating characters in the TV soaps including ‘Tapasya’ and ‘ACP Nikita’.

Entire television industry was shocked after the news was aired in media.
