Odisha Juggernauts kept up their incredible play to win the inaugural Ultimate Kho Kho on Sunday at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Mahalunge, Pune, Maharashtra. Gujarat Giants narrowly defeated Rajasthan Warriors to escape with the victory.
Both teams have already qualified for the postseason.
The Odisha Juggernauts won a spectacular comeback triumph by nine points with a score of 48-39 thanks to Suraj Lade’s four defender-capturing points and Vishal’s outstanding defensive play throughout 3.53 minutes on the floor.
In the important last turn, Akshay Ganpule of the Rajasthan Warriors scored four points superbly with 3.24 minutes of defence to tie the game. However, with just seven seconds remaining, Nilesh Patil disqualified him, resulting in an exciting 42-40 victory.

Defenders Vishal and Subhasis Santra of the Odisha Juggernauts displayed great defensive prowess to limit Telugu Yoddhas to to 19 points in the third quarter. Santra contributed two points for his 2.42 minute stint while Vishal defended for 3.53 minutes, scoring six points.
Table-topper The Odisha Juggernauts, on the other hand, threw caution to the wind in the vital last round and seized nine players from the opposition, scoring 22 points to secure their sixth straight victory.
Adarsh Mohite of Telugu Yoddhas impressed with nine points, while Gowtham MK was the other standout performance for the winning team with nine.
