The association also extended their support to Delhi police during an emergency meeting held in the state capital.
“The association stands in complete solidarity with our colleagues of Delhi Police. We demand the Union Government at the highest level to take up the matter with the appropriate authority,” said an official communication of the association.
The association also said that the incident was totally unacceptable in any democracy. “ We also express our gratitude to people at large, who have used all avenues available to them, to voice their concern over the attack on personnel of Delhi Police and have demanded that justice be done,” added the official communication.
