On Wednesday in Dubai, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will speak at the Odisha Investors Meet 2022. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the Government of Odisha will jointly organise the event (FICCI).
The purpose of the event is to strengthen Odisha’s relations to the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) area economically. Tomorrow’s meeting between Naveen and the diaspora will be attended by up to 500 Odias who live in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and other adjacent nations.
According to sources, the Odia expats living in the MENA region will probably lobby the Odisha chief minister for a direct flight between Dubai and Bhubaneswar.
‘Odisha is the first option of investors because of its favourable climate for industrialization,’ CMO Odisha tweeted on the eve of the Meet. The Dubai event will be extremely beneficial in luring investors from the MENA region.
