Pyari Xaxa and Manisa Panna, both from Odisha, have been nominated to the 23-member Indian Women’s Football Team for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022, which begins on January 20, 2022.
On Tuesday, Mr Asirbad Behera, Hony. Secretary, Football Association of Odisha, said, “The All India Football Federation has selected two women football players from our state, Pyari Xaxa and Manisa Panna, to represent India Senior Women’s National Football Team in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022.”
Mr Behera, along with all of FAO’s office bearers, congratulated and wished all of the women football players selected for the National Football Team the best of luck.
From January 20, 2022, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 will be held in three cities: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Pune.
