A team of Intelligence Bureau officials busted a fake cigarette manufacturing unit at Alakar village under Chhatabar panchayat in Bhubaneswar today and arrested the factory’s owner.
According to sources, H-10 and H-Star cigarettes were manufactured at that bogus factory using subpar materials.
After being informed, Intelligence Bureau officials raided the location and apprehended the owner of the factory, Raja Rao of Ganjam district, as well as seized a large quantity of counterfeit cigarettes and gutkha worth lakhs of rupees.
