Odisha has targeted to generate 5 MW roof top solar power in the twin city of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar at a cost of around Rs.40 crore.
The high power empower committee headed by Chief Secretary AP Padhi on Monday selected Acure Power Limited through a competitive bidding for the generation of solar power from the roof tops of various offices and educational institutions located in twin city.
Secretary in charge of the PPP Monitoring committee P K Jena said the company had offered to generate solar power at the rate of Rs.5.69 per unit.
