Nine bill likely to be placed, discussed, passed in Odisha Assembly

Nine bill likely to be placed, discussed, passed in Odisha Assembly in Monsoon session. The ruling BJD would try to pass the Odisha Police Bill-2015 in the Monsoon Session of the State Assembly beginning on Tuesday as the Bill could not be discussed in the Budget Session though tabled.

Besides the Police Bill, eight other Bills are likely to be placed, discussed and passed in this session. The nine Bills are Odisha Land Grabbing (Prevention) (Ordinance Promulgation) Bill, Odisha Police Bill, Odisha Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Apartment Ownership (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Underground Pipeline, Cable and Nullah Bill, Odisha Education (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Land Encroachment Prevention (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Municipal Corporation and Odisha Municipal Act (Amendment) Bill.
