Again the naxals spotted violence at the Malkangiri border in Sukma district of Chattisgarh. The green uniformed Naxals brutally killed a road Contractor by slitting his throat. The deceased Contractor was identified as Hari Shankar Sahoo.
Reportedly, Hari was engaged in constructing the road construction work under Pradhanmantri Gramya Sadak Yojna in between Mishma and Upampalli area in Sukma District. The distance of 15km road was carried out for ₹11Cr. Earlier the naxal group had warned to stop such development work in the area. But dis-obeying this Sahoo continued the work. Police also instructed the Contractor to not to proceed the work without the presence of security personnel. But the Sahoo over ruled the police instruction and claimed his self life.
As per the source, about 30-40 well equiped uniformed naxals raided on Kulkarni & Sahu Buildcon Ltd office around 12:30pm today. They man handled with Sahoo on the spot. With a heavy hammer they attacked on chest of Sahoo and when he fell down they killed Sahoo by slitting his throat. Not only this they torched six vehicles on the spot which were engaged on said road construction work.
