Bhubaneswar: An inspector-in-charge (IIC) of Nayapalli police station turned to be an inspiration for all after he played an important role in saving a youth from assailants here in the city.

Displaying unprecedented courage on the field, IIC of Nayapalli Police Station Arun Kumar Swain singlehandedly saved a youth from assailants and also nabbed one of them. His bravery and commitment are in highest traditions of @Odisha_Police and an inspiration for all.
According to reports, the IIC of Nayapalli PS Arun Kumar Swain was on his way for a VIP duty on Wednesday when he spotted two miscreants chasing one Abhay Kumar Nayak. Abhay was injured and bleeding profusely while running away from the chasers.
Swain immediately asked the driver to turn the vehicle and chased the miscreants. While one was nabbed, another managed to escape from the spot.
Later, the IIC admitted Abhay to Capital hospital in Bhubaneswar and later shifted him to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after preliminary treatment.
