Naveen extends support to HIV survivors on World AIDS Day

Bhubaneswar,Dec.01 : Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on World AIDS Day took to his Twitter handle to extend support to people living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).

The Odisha CM tweeted: “Let’s pledge to prevent stigma & marginalization to ensure a life with dignity.”

World AIDS Day is being observed every year on December 1, with the aim to make people aware of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and support people living with it.

The World AIDS Day, which started in 1988, was the first ever global health day. The international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease.
