Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated the Indian cricket team for the historic win against Australia in the opening cricket Test at the Adelaide Oval.
The Odisha CM took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: “Congratulations to the Indian Cricket team for winning the 1st test match of a series in Australia for the first time. Best wishes to the Men In Blue to make it a historic series down under.”

This is the sixth Test win for India on Australian soil. Interestingly, this is the first time India have won the first Test match of a series in Australia.
