The National Sports Awards for 2022 were announced on Monday by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Deep Grace Ekka, an Odisha hockey player, will be given the esteemed Arjuna Award.
Ekka is one of 24 athletes from a variety of sports who have been nominated for the Arjuna award for exceptional achievement in sports and games.
On November 30, 2022, at a specially planned event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the honorees will receive their honours from the President of India.
