According to sources, unidentified miscreants triggered a fire in the Banigochha forest destroying several rare and valuable medicinal plants and trees.On being informed, fire services personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.However, the reason behind the action by the miscreants is yet to be ascertained, sources said.
