On basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s family members, Nilagiri Police have launched a probe into the matter and are trying to trace the abducted school teacher, sources said.
If sources are to be believed, the victim was headed to the school when some unknown men waylaid her and abducted her. After the incident came to light, her family members approached the local police.
A manhunt has been launched to zero in on the kidnappers, sources in the police said.
